The Oil
TANGOLIVA is exquisite extra virgin oil from olive groves grown in Poman Valley (Valle de Pomán) in Catamarca, Argentina. This oil has an optimum quality due to a first cold pressing and to its acidity under 0.8%.
The temperament of its blend is the result of a mixture of several varieties (Arbequina, Picual and Coratina). Its delicate flavor with a fruity taste and peppery and bitter notes is the distinctive characteristic of TANGOLIVA.
The oil contained in TANGOLIVA bottles won the 2008 award to the best Argentine extra virgin oil granted by the ISETA (Instituto Superior Experimental en Tecnología de Alimentos) jury panel.
